Oct. 20, 2015

I hope all is well with everyone in the WVSLA .  We have a couple exciting events upon the horizon and wanted to ensure that you had the details in your hands.  As your regional professional lacrosse organization we, The Ohio Machine, feel very strongly about giving back to our regional community.  The events I have listed below allow us to do so in a professional and also an affordable way.
My personal experience as being the first head coach at both NCAA DII Wheeling Jesuit University (1999-2003) and NCAA DI Robert Morris University (2004-2011) has given me a tremendous connections to both WV and Western, PA lacrosse communities.  It brings me great pleasure to still be connected to both areas that meant so much to my family and I. We hope that you and your program will consider the following if events if you have not already made arrangements to attend.

As we start preparing for another year of lacrosse, the Machine is happy to announce our second annual Coaches Convention. The support of last year's convention helped us grow this year's event to even greater heights. The 2015 Ohio Machine Coaches Convention will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center in Columbus, OH.

New to the convention in 2015 is the addition of girl's lacrosse, a referee convention, and a high school leadership program designed for high school students that are, or want to become team captains. Machine players Kyle Harrison and Scott Rodgers will highlight the high school leadership program.
