FAIRMONT - Dec. 4 - Fairmont Senior's Morgan Cain has joined University High's Jenna Hughes in signing with a college to play lacrosse at the next level. Cain, a junior, has chosen Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pa. , while Hughes, a senior, has selected Gannon University in Erie, Pa.

FAIRMONT - Nov. 18 - The WVSLA Girls coaches will hold a scheduling meeting on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at the Pokey Dot in Fairmont. Coaches are reminded to find out the special dates at their respective schools: prom date, spring break, band functions, etc.
