The first ever middle school lacrosse practice in Preston County.

FIRST THING TO GET: GET A LACROSSE STICK !

STARTER PACKAGES - Some vendors offer a great price if you buy everything at once from them.

Commonwealth Lacrosse Starter Pack - $159.99 - Here you can choose a BLACK helmet.

Here's a one from Sport Stop - $179.95
http://www.sportstop.com/Mens-Lacrosse-Equipment/Starter-Sets/STX-Stinger-Lacrosse-Starter-Package-5-Piece

To get a BLACK helmet with this or another starter package Sport Stop offers, call Eugene Arsenault direct at 800-335-4670, ext. 115.
I have heard that to get a black helmet with this deal, it costs an extra $40.  It would be nice to have everyone in a black helmet, but WHITE is OK.

The choice is up to you as to what stick & pads to get. You may already know what kind of stick you prefer. The info below is provided to give new players a starting point.

Just to start out, you'll need a stick. Sticks & other equipment are available at Dick's, Dunhams, or on-line. Here are some inexpensive suggestions:

STICK - Warrior Outlaw ($23 on sale), STX AV8 U - ($40)

The next thing you will need will be gloves. Start getting used to handling the stick wearing gloves.
GLOVES - STX Stinger - Black - Sizes: 6", 8", 10", 12" 13" ($30 to $37)

Once you know for sure you are committed, get a helmet.

HELMET - Cascade CS Youth - Black - One Size ($105 to $116)
Check it out at http://www.sporthelmets.com/

Once we start full contact, you will need the following:
ARM PADS - STX Stinger AP - Black - Sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, L ($21 to $26)
SHOULDER PADS - STX Stinger - Sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, L ($33 to $38)

GOALIE EQUIPMENT - I will work with the goalies individually for their equipment. They do not wear arm pads & shoulder pads. They just need a chest protector.
